SMS Terms & Conditions

1. SMS Consent Communication
The information (phone numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
2. Types of SMS Communications
Upon consenting to receive text messages from Westlake Law Firm, APC, you may receive communications related to:
- Consultation scheduling and appointment reminders
- Follow-up messages regarding your inquiry
- Case-related updates and requests for information or documents
- Billing and administrative notices related to your matter
Please note that standard messaging disclosures apply (see Section 8).
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication and the status of your inquiry or matter. For example, you may receive up to 5 SMS messages per week related to your appointments, consultations, or case.
4. Potential Fees for SMS Messaging
Carriers may charge fees for each message sent or received. These fees can vary based on your carrier’s pricing structure and whether the message is sent domestically or internationally. Westlake Law Firm does not charge a separate fee for participation in this program.
5. Opt-In Method
You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Westlake Law Firm through one of the following methods:
- By checking the SMS consent box when submitting an online form on our website
- Verbally, during a conversation with our office
- By filling out a paper intake or consent form
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of becoming a client or receiving any service from our firm.
6. Opt-Out
You can opt out of SMS messaging from Westlake Law Firm by replying STOP at any time to any received SMS message. Once opted out, you will receive no further SMS communication. You can opt back in at any time by replying START.

8. Standard Messaging Disclosures

- Standard messaging rates will be charged by your mobile service provider.
- You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to the number from which you received the message.
